I have some huge news -- today I am officially announcing my candidacy for Edgewater City Council! After years of recruiting and training candidates to run for local office, I'm excited to step into the position as candidate. But with your help, I know I can succeed and help create a better future for Edgewater and our broader community.
Celebrate my first campaign with me - donate $15 today!
Edgewater is a small town, but we have the chance to be big leaders. Although we are just 5,000 residents in 0.7 square miles, Edgewater is a progressive hub in one of the most politically contentious counties in the country - Jefferson County. Whether it's creating more public transportation, working towards racial and economic justice, supporting affordable housing, or planning for smart growth, Edgewater can - and should - be leading the Front Range in creating a clean, safe, thriving community.
As of last week I am on the ballot and facing tough competition. There are five people running for four at-large city council seats, and I'm both the youngest candidate and the only woman on the ballot. I love Edgewater and am excited to run, but I need your help! We are just getting our campaign off the ground, and we need to buy literature, yard signs, pay for our website, and more.
Will you stand with me? Pitch in $15 to support my campaign today!
Thank you for your support. I'll keep you up to date, and please don't hesitate to reach out!
